Flowstone cave and castle labyrinth

Today I went to a flowstone cave in the northern part of Budapest. With 19 km of cave galleries it is the second biggest in Hungary. The following gallery is called "snow-white and the seven dwarfs". The big stalagmite is snow-white being about 70000 years old. On our way out of the cave we even saw a bat.

Afterwards I went to the Buda castle labyrinth located under the castle district. There are several caves dedicated to different ages. The atmosphere down there is very interesting due to several installations. I guess that I will visit it again in some weeks during an evening hour since then the visit takes place with a lamp in contrast to illuminated caves during the day.
