Portuguese bullfight

I have attended a Portuguese bullfight. The first picture shows university students celebrating in the arena. Almost every student dresses up during Queima das Fitas (the week of student festivities) and celebrates excessively. (The yellow color of the ribbons shows the membership to a certain faculty. Students from other faculties have ribbons with other colors.)

The traditional Portuguese bullfight is different from the Spanish one. In Portugal the matador fights on a horse. In a second round the bull is caught by some guys which can be painful for the guy who is in the front row. But the bulls' horns are covered by some mantle such that the bull cannot spear anyone.
