Yesterday I visited the so-called F60. It is an old excavated earth bridge used in the days of coal mining in the Lausitz area. In fact, it is/was the biggest movable machine in the world. (I don't know whether the death star or starship enterprise is bigger.) It is about 500m long, 80m high and very impressive.

Last week I was in Leipzig. Here are some impressions. The last two pictures show the Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
